The owners had long hoped to give their building new life; The tired vinyl siding left much to be desired. Once removed, however, an open palette would be feasible to establish a new image to better fit their advertising and design agency and its commercial corridor.

Working within a number of parameters such as specifying siding materials which could navigate the curves, meeting fire codes and fitting the budget, a mixture of metal and cedar siding and painted engineered wooden panels along with an entry canopy were incorporated. They address the different forms, define the entry and create an image befitting the commercial the client.

The initial project phase included plan development which allowed the building to be reclassified from switch residential to commercial.
